Zelda II: The Adventure of Link NES Review - Sometimes Underrated

I think this game sometimes retrieves a lot of unfair critisism. I think in many ways, this game is BETTER than the original. Spells, power ups, more dialogue. It outdoes the original in many ways.

However, the awkward flirtation with side scrolling movement rather than the original's overhead view is what many complain about when it comes to this game, and I would have to agree with that.

However, once you get past this side scrolling awkwardness, a really fun and enjoyable game lies ahead. I just urge you all to give this one a chance. It may be as good as the original to some, may not to others, but its still a really great game.
