Yoshi NES Review - Gopher

It's playable, certainly, and may strike some people just right, but on the whole Yoshi feels like what it is: a quick answer to the success of Dr. Mario. Just another Mario-themed Tetris-style puzzle game, only of a notably lower quality than the others. I personally think Wario's Woods is the best, but Dr. Mario is pretty damn fun too. Both are available for the NES. Even the sequel, Yoshi's Cookies, is much, much better. Yoshi is worth checking out if you're a big fan of puzzle games though, because it is by all means not bad, just not all that good.
