Street Fighter 2010 NES Review - Not unplayable, but has many holes

by Cloddy Ah! on Saturday, January 18, 2003
Given the quality of the graphics and sound in this game, it's hard to believe what extraordinary gaps they left in the actual gameplay. The methods of shooting and defending yourself are very underdeveloped. On the plus side, if your willing to put up with that, it's a very challenging game and can be entertaining. Still, definitely not a "classic" or on par with finer platformers like the Mario or Megaman series, and it doesn't hold a candle to Metroid. It's difficulty level doesn't seem to be the result of intentional challenges but rather shoddy craftsmenship, and it's understandable if you find that hard to overlook. Those who do however seem to have fun with it.
