Solomons Key NES Review - Impossible NES games, part 4

by ToddVania on Friday, October 4, 2002
I just can't be too generous in my rating of this game, because, NES games are supposed to be easy enough to be solved eventually. I've been working on and off on this one since it was new, and have gotten no further than I did then. The instruction book also does not tell what all the crap you pick up means (see Athena for more of that type of crap).
Yet the game is addictive and fun if you like the puzzle-solving genre, which I do. With an unlimited weapon of sorts, this might by solvable and more fun, but as it is, it's just too hard. I like the graphics and the astrological signs, though. 6 out of 10
