City Connection NES Review - Great, odd, odd game

by Rex on Tuesday, July 30, 2002
I bought this game at a rental store the other day because I liked the label art. I put it in and played it, and it is soooo weird. I have to say, it sort of reminds me of an old Atari 2600 game like Miner 2049er. I cant remember the storyline, but I read something somewhere about it. It is like you have paint leaking from your car, and the police are after you. But, before you can escape you must cover the whole highway with paint. Luckily, your car has the ability to jump, and oddly, the roads are donkey kong style platforms. But beware of the hitch hiking cats, because you will hit them, and as we all know, if you hit a hitch hiking cat you die. My only beef with the game is it is hard to see the cats sometimes, and that is it. I love it other wise, I am a huge fan of weird games. 3.7 out of 5.
