Back in Black!
By Scratchenator on 1/14/2003 10:14:12 AM
The first fishing game I ever played. Very good for the time. The SNES version was very similar, but I had far more fun with this version. True, the game was rare even back then. Though I never found it's clone, I think it was called Blue Marlin or something like that. Anyway, I remember once trying 30 min to catch a humongous fish. I failed and my fingers hurted me a lot. That's what happens when you don't eat all of our soup! Makes you weak! Damn boat! Controlling it was a pain in the ass! But the game ruled!

9.5/10

A genre-redeeming game

This game was loads of fun, though its obscurity made it hard to find. The SNES sequal was also quite good, and I don't even like fishing games. These games were a blast.

This is a game I played a lot as a kid. I had a lot of fun playing it and would recommend it to any fishing fanatic! A definite classic.
