Twilight Princess to be sold online only in Japan!(GCN)

In Zelda

The Famitsu website revealed today that in Japan, the GameCube version of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be sold exclusively trough the japanese Nintendo online store, and there is a chance retailers won't get the game at all.

Reservations for the game starts 11/06 and the products will be distributed from 12/02 (the Wii release date in Japan).

Hopefully it won't be the same here and be sold in stores, the GCN version.

I guess I will get it used in a gamestore later then.

Why do they do that? If it's only available in their online store it won't sell as many copies as it could...

hahahahhahaha!

Better hope they don't decide to do that on this side of the lake Luke ;) I doubt they will though.

Not sure he would care, as his Gamecube is essentially gone and he plans to buy a Wii.

This is not a good move by Nintendo. They promised the fans a GC version and now the Japanese only get it in an online shop, it was delayed after the Wii version release... they surely won't sell me a copy that fast. I'll wait and buy used or cheap new.
