What do you guys think about Global Warming? I heard the Polar Ice Caps are melting faster than ever.

I think global warming is bad for your health. And for mine, too.

Now seriously, it's a bad thing happening right now. And I don't think we can stop it any more. All nations in the world grow faster and faster and use more energy, produce more CO2 and stuff.
I just hope there aren't too many catastrophes the time I'm wandering around.

Burning down forests in South America is causing this to happen even faster. Anyways, if your really parinoid (sp?), don't watch, "The Day After Tomorrow".

It sucks. I feel that governments should actually something about it, as opposed to saying that they will. As individuals there's only so much we can do, the governments need to take greater responsibility.

I think we may have dug ourselves a hole that unfortunatly we won't be able to dig out of.
On the news I saw the Hydrogen cars. If only they were not only cost effective but if we had the ability to transition them in to replace gasoline cars it probably would help considerably. Could you imagine how LA's skyline would look if nobody had gas cars? The people might actually be able to see the sky.

I'm a believer in the Gaia Theory. (The Earth functioning as an organism doing anything to survive). That could somewhat explain why the Earth is rebelling.

i've been learning about this, and watched a movie in school about it yesterday. apparently there has been a 1 degree increase in temperature in the past century and has risen the most during the last 3 decades. many people think that it is caused by pollution, but some people argue that it could just be due to climate conditions. If the temperture comtinues to increase its the cause of all the CO2 from cars, but if eventually goes down it might just be caused by climate changes.

If it's real, the only way it can be slowed down is by international governments to fix their countries , and not try to pull bullsh*t like the Kyoto treaty.

Im just going to sit back and eat some popcorn as the planet destroys itself. ..well watch how people destroy it hah. Nothing we can do about it.

the earth changes climate every so many years, it's probably about that time again. i'm sure man has helped speed up the process alot though. who knows? i guess we'll have to wait and find out

There are so many things bound to happen to earth, and these are one of the more "apparent" things.
