What's your favorite classic TV show??

In Off-topic

I want to know what is your favorite 1970's type show?

Me i have too many, but my top 2 are....
1. What's Happening
2. Starsky And Hutch

Giligans Island, Happy Days, and All in the Family are all really good shows that i occasionally watch when i have nothing else to do.

and i guess the Brady Bunch deserves a mention.

i would of said the Andy Griffith show, but that was more 60s

Sometimes i watch Good Times on TVLand.

Aaaaay!

Yup. I've got the same favorite as daynum, but before The Fonz got rather weak and started surfing, seeing Mork, etc. I like the early days of the show. WTF ever happened to Richie Cunningham's brother?

I like bonanza, GunSmoke, andy griffith the most. Give me those shows over anything on tv today.

Well, as for American shows, I liked the A-Team, I liked Mission: Impossible (baddies get dem Stooges, but I loved the Addams Family more (mention The Munsters and I'll kill you).

Of course, I would absolutely kill to see Lost in Space, but alas, it never plays.

Wait, ? Fine, scratch out everything but Sanford & Son and Kolchak.

The single greatest sitcom ever

sorry 'Newb, but i'm gonna have to say that the Munsters is a way better show than the Addams Family....

H.R. Pufnstuf.

I like The Honeymooners and Mister Ed

I do hope you realize that I'm a member of the SiniLegion. We have... friends.

Well I don't mind watching Good Times or All in the Family, but Sanford and Son most definitely kick ass. Happy Days and The Brady Bunch are my next favorites.

oh man HOW could I forget the stooges. They are also in my favorites!

I watched the A-Team a lot when I was a kid. (Is that a 70s show?)
And Knight Rider.

Another fan of Sinistar. Every time I play that game, it scares the bejesus out of my wife. One of the most wicked video game voices of all time.

Nope. That was the 80's, although it was produced by the same dude that did The Rockford Files and some other 70's greats. And how the hell did I forget Columbo and All In The Family?

Columbo is great!
I wish I had the money to get the DVD boxes.

Heh. Yeah, the prices are ridiculous, especially when you consider the actual cost of burning a CD/DVD. I got the first 5 seasons of M*A*S*H (I reconsider the Happy Days favorite; M*A*S*H takes its place), and I spent well over $150. And it doesn't seem to pay to "wait until they've gone down in price," either, those TV box sets always seem to run around $30-$35, unless you go to a pawn shop or the used bin at the video store, and then they're usually scratched.

Ho-lee sh*t, I forgot M*A*S*H... enter violin.

GACKH! The music's in my head now!

I liked the fact that the car's voice was done by the guy who played John Adams in 1776.

I love it, because every-single-damn-time I play the game, I do spectacularly well on the first level... and then get completely rammed on the second level.

Have you ever gotten the "infinite" lives glitch? I've never been able to get it, even when I get as many warriors after me as is possible.

No, I haven't, though I have heard of it. This game and Tempest--they're both supposed to have that kind of glitch. The one with Tempest is supposed to involve the score or something. On the PS1 Atari classics or whatever it is (I'm not positive of the title and I'm too lazy right now to get up and look) the creator of the game is interviewed and talks in-depth about the bugs, and they're supposed to be included in the disc. And yeah, Sinistar does seem to just crank up the difficulty level after you beat the first. He's twisted & evil...

hahah yeah, Im going to take a wild guess here since I havent seen that show in a while but...didnt the teacher on boy meets world do the cars voice? He played Mr Finny in the show I think.

I really enjoyed Alf.

Yeah, ALF has to be my favourite seventies TV show. I escpecially liked the first season in 1986.
