Sadly Don Knotts, the man who played Barney Fife on Andy Griffith, has passed away a couple of days ago Farewell may your soul find peace.

I only started watching The Andy Griffith show about 6 years ago. I liked it a lot.
I guess the only good thing is that he died old and he knew he was sick. I think it sucks when death sneaks out of nowhere and you can't say your goodbyes.

I saw some blogspam on digg talking about it, titled "White America's Buffon Dead". It was a mean article dissing him for looking odd. Naturally, I posted a less than positive comment.
