What kind of car do you have?

In Off-topic

I have a 1993 Chevy Hightop Conversion Van. It may only get up to 90 MPH but it has a TV, VCR, and my NES in there for the passengers entertainment . Here are some pics:

i got a 1988 Buick LeSabre Limited. here's a pic, but it's not mine. mine is flat grey, and has spoke rims.... er hubcaps .

EDIT: forgot to mention mine is a 4 door, the one in the picture is a 2 door.

1966 coupe mustang, shade of green that you've ever seen (Tahoe Turqouise, if I really recall), not in the best shape (it's my grandmother's old car, she got it in '81)...

But still, it's a than happy with it.

I have a 1996 Mercury Mystique, I will post some pics tomorrow.

There was a picture here when I last looked...

That's what I thought too, but I thought I might have been hallucinating.

Yeah, I deleted the pic because I only had one and I want to take several pics from different angles, like greatmightypoo.

So don't worry OGTL, you are not hallucinating.

I have a silver 2001 Hyundai Elantra that I just bought about a month ago. I'd take pictures, but we had really gross roads a couple weeks ago and my car is filthy now from all the slush and mud and stuff.

i have 2
and thats it,
note those arent my feet.

I have a 1989 Oldsmobile Calais 2 door Blue with a 4 Cylinder engine runs good i call it the Love Machine.

But my friend (whom can be the sweetest person in the world at times) is allowing me to drive this bad girl while he is away until May/June.

Her name is MJ. (She's an 1994 Mercedes Benz E420)

This isn't a pic I took, I just found one that looks exactly like her.

My untrusty sidekick.. A 95 Dodge Spirit prone to breakdowns and will be reaching 200000 miles soon... Any takers?

A 1999 Dodge Stratus, Color=Champagn(tan), 4 banger, 4 door, and 4 sale

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! my first car was a 1991 Dodge Shadow, samething different name. that thing was piece! top speed was 85 MPH, and when you got it up to 60, the whole car would shake. i only had a few real problems with mine: teh a/c stopped working a few months after i got it. the speedometer messed up, but then fixed itself

atleast it was comfortable....

Lets see what I've had replaced in my car

Transmission ($1000)
Waterpump ($400)
radiator and the fan motor ($575)
fuel lines $275 (they made it where you can't even do that yourself, trust me I tried)
Front left shock ($130)
Left headlight ($10)
And now it has a slow oil leak... I'm not paying $1500 that the mechanics want.. I'll just pour oil into it till I get a new ride.

Of course this a vehicle that was driven back and forth from Alabama and Florida 5 days a week for years, so I can't really say too much.

It says 130 on the speedometer.. I've only gotten it up to 107 and the frame sHook so hard I thought it was going to blow. Otherwise it's a good little car and it handles surprisingly well.

Me and my girlfriend are looking into getting a Honda Civic for our next ride.

That is exactly the same shoes I was in about 2 years ago. They told me it a leaky head gasket and was gonna cost $800-$1000

Thats a nice choice .

My van has been through a new water pump, alternator, and the Air conditioner unit was "fixed" for $700!! The AC still didnt work and then a friend of my dad put in 2 8 dollar cans of freon coolant stuff and it worked!! So basically $16 fixed it when $700 didn't

that's what mechanics do.... sometime over summer, my car wouldn't start. so i had a tow truck tow it to a shop, $800 later it was running again. right, so sometime over winter break, i go to start my car, it would start but wouldn't stay running.... great, that's what it did when i had it towed to the shop. so i thought maybe it was out of gas because i was pretty low last time i drove it. i put the gallon in it that we had sitting in the garage and it cranked right up! and when it was in the shop, the guy said something to me about "why didn't you tell us how much gas it had in it, one of my guys went to take it for a test drive and he ran out of gas on the next street over". so now that i think about it, i probly just needed gas!

my gas gauge doesn't work, so i have to go by miles.

yeah, sorry for that overly long post

That would have been the answer if I could have afforded the down payment, full insurance, tag and car payments.. Unfortunately I didn't have that kinda cash, so I just had to fix the POS as it broke down.

Good lord !! Wouldn't the sound of the parking strut clacking rapidly and loudly in the rotor tell him something, if by chance he didn't notice the big red idiot light that says on the dashboard??? He's lucky his car even goes into park anymore.

I live in a land of my own (didn't really think about all the extra costs of purchasing a car).
To be honest, I've never bought a car in my life. My first car my dad gave me for graduation (a Mercury Mekur) but I didn't get a driver's licsense until I was 20. Then when that broke down, he gave me a Jeep Cherokee, then when that broke down my ex fiance bought me a car (1994 Buick Regal) then when that broke down I never got another one. I probably could have had more cars (a lot of really dumb guys out there have wanted to buy me one) but I'm an honest person (for the most part) and don't accept such gifts.

1992 5.0 Mustang.

Fun little hunk of crap, shiney and all that good stuff, other car is the infiniti, or the "boring ass automatic work car".

I hate auto's except in traffic. Then, they are a blessing!

I couldn't take several pics.

Anyway, here is my car.

My dad is getting me a Geo Metro once I am done with drivers ed. Time to start paying insurrence

say by to all your money....

say by to all your money....

I have 2 more years till I turn 25. Hopefully it will be a significant drop.

Here's my motor. Affectionately known as "The Tardis".

It still is strange to me that you guys drive on the opposite side of the road.

Out of curiosity, do you guys have a lot of accidents, due to dumb tourists?

I love little cars. I'd drive this around all day,....if gas wasn't 2.20

I get about zero respect for driving it, but I also like little cars. Especially as there are a lot of narrow streets where I live.

I remember my dad accidently driving on the wrong side of the road in France and nearly having a crash, but that's the only time I've ever seen it happen.

We get people driving on the wrong side of the road here all the time, but its just stupid people, they live here, but they just seem to be suicidal.

That's the best kind!

2001 Ford Focus. No major problems, but I've had several incidents where the ignition switch locked up. After the 4th time the Ford dealership finally put a whole new steering column in. Have not had the problem in over a year *knocks on wood*.

Also getting new tires for my Focus sucks, because those little tires are hard to find. Finally just went with regular size tires.

1968 Dodge Dart, black & runs like a top, but has expired tags and can't afford insurance right now. I just love having to pay rent on something I already own....

not actual pic, my car is the same thing only maroon. 1991 nissan maxima SE.

$500 Honda Civic
