The King Kong thread.

In Off-topic

I got back from the movie around 12:30am. I must say this movie ROCKED! I loved every min of it. If you haven't seen it go now! I gave this movie:

Pros+
Long movie
Nice fighting sceans

Cons=
The NES ROMance scean are "Werid".

Scenes.

I can't afford to see movies.

I want to watch it probably in the winter break together with some friends in our shitty backyard cinema. I hope it's still impressive there.

Pros+
Long movie

It's the length of the film that puts me off seeing it at the cinema. 187 minutes = sore ass and bulging bladder. I'll probably wait for the DVD.

The movie was simply awesome. After 2 hours past I went to the bathroom and said Holy crap...it's been 2 hours? only felt less then a hour..all in all the Movie went by to quick!
The island scene's are freaking awesome, the dinosuars were better then jurassic park and this was kong's movie, It's only been a few hours since I seen it, but it is pretty much my all time favorite now after Matrix.
Also it was nice to see Jack black do serious stuff and show that he can do something other then comedy pretty much.

I can't afford to see movies. What do you mean you can't afford to see movies?

Scenes.

I can't afford to see movies.
Afford:
1. To have the financial means for; bear the cost of: not able to afford a new car.

Cannot: Do not posses financial means for silly things like movies.

Understand?

I've had the 1933 version on DVD for a while, and have watched it a few times, so there's no real point in paying to see a fancier version of a film i've already seen, surely the storyline must be the same (just about) but if someone offered to pay for me i'd go.

Over 3 hours??
I didn't realize it was that long...
I like long movies, though. You get more movie for your money.
But unfotunately I fear they'll make a break after about 90 minutes and all the kids rush out to buy popcorn and tortilla chips and the next 20 minutes you hear them eat it...
