What do you like, (other than the forums) of nesfiles?

Forums are the only thing i look at. Ocaisonally peek at the reviews, but not often.

I like the Green.

The site has always been very well laid out. You can find a wealth of information about a game (from screenshots, to instruction manuals, to cheat codes, to music files) all on one easy to navigate page.

I'd have to agree.

I like the game information, which was why I originally came here. Then I thought the forums were good so decided to stick around. And the people are good, a good mix and on the whole generally intelligent as opposed to some people on other forums, who just say "woot" "n00b" or "PS2 roxx innit mush lol omg itz got fiidy cent!!??!!"

In all seriousness, though, most of the forums I've seen are idiotic. Which is why I never posted in forums. I got referred here for NES ROMs, which I downloaded. I stuck around, though, because it was interesting. I poked around the forums, and discovered actual conversations, and no l337speak.

You just took the words straight out of my mouth. You cant really find any decent places to even post anymore without getting flamed for being a "noob" or what not. This place is different witch is why I stuck around. One board you DONT want to go to is romnation.net's forum

I'd have to say the people too. I also like the name of the web site, The Nesfiles, sounds like X-Files. When I first heard of this site, it sounded like secret NES-Files and that's kinda cool. It's also cool that you can ask about pretty much everything, and get an answer. The fact that you can download old NES Games, print out manuals and listen to the music from the games is also pretty cool!

Wow, really? I thought school's blocking settings were bad... were you Saint Bernard-ed, or Websensed?

My school is running WebSense They blocked the forums, but not nesfiles.com. Like that's any good to me. She blocked everything but her little retarded dictionaries and things.

Websensed too, but the forums are not locked though, That's a good thing
