The Bush administration chastized Sony about the rootkit scandal. Talk about embarrassing.




In related news, Microsoft has officially labeled the rootkit as malicious software.



It's about damn time...

Yeah. It's a Trojan, pretty much. It installs itself and keeps tabs on you. Then, it opens your computer wide open to virus attacks.

Oddly enough, do Interscope Records have this software too? I know on my Beck and NIN cd's they won't play in my computer cd drive unless it's Hooked up the the internet.

I'm pretty sure I played a Beck CD in my PC once (when it wasn't connected to the 'net) but this was a good 7 years back (I think)

I just tried "Guero" it wouldn't work.
