What would you buy with US$1500?

In Off-topic

The topic is well self explanatory.

I myself would get

an iPod..........20 GB........ US$ 300
a PSP............................. US$ 250
a game for the PSP.......... US$ approx. $50
I already have a DS

That's US$ 600 already,

I would save the US$900 for the Next-gen systems that would come out

Nice used MXZ 440. My tundra rules for POWder, though.

I would get:

1) SNES
2) Put $500 away for an Xbox 360 and games
3) use the rest and buy tons of NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube and Xbox games. (mostly used so it would be cheaper.)

Either that, or a potato chip with jesus's picture on it.:

I'll sell you a potato chip with Jesus' face on it, for say... 500$, because you're a friend.

I'd probably spend 1500$ for 2 tickets to Japan in next year's summer.

If not on flight tickets I'd buy an mp3 player for about 250$, the Nintendo Revolution plus some games and lots of old consoles I don't own yet.

I'd put 700 dollars away in the bank for college. I'd spend the other 700 some dollars trying to get 100 N64 games, and more . Also, I'd give some to my mom, and dad.

That's pretty cool of you to say you would give some money to your mom and dad.

I would use it to pay half the cost of a Moog Voyager analogue synthesizer.

That or buy some more guitar pedals.

I would buy one of them nes world championship carts, if that is even enough

Can you buy projectors for 1500$?
I'm not so much into projectors, but I always thought those were more expensive.

I'd buy an ipod and a new bike. And then save the rest. I'd have to get it changed into pounds first

Visit friends in BC: $500

Bank the rest of the money for a car or truck

BC i always thought it would cost more than $500 to travel back in time, but maybe if you're only going to, say 100 BC, it might be that cheap. No way $500 will get you back to 65million BC though

BOW TO THE MIGHTY PROCESSED CHEESE

(Yeah, that GIF screenshot really sucks ass )

I would buy all three upcoming next gen systems when they're out. I would spend the rest on a NES and lotsa games. Also I'de buy an ipod and CDs.

By the way, I'll never have $1,500.00.

Not for $1500 you wouldn't buy all three consoles, NES Games, and an iPod...

Xbox 360 real bundle: $399

PS3: $399 (unannounced, but it'll be around that.)

Revolution: $299 (my prediction based on the cost of the other consoles)

total before taxes: $1100

Total after taxes (using my tax rate as an example): $1265

So, we have three consoles, zero games, and $235 left...

Three games at $60: $180 plus tax

235 - 180 = $55

Now for that iPod, those NES Games, and those CDs...

In conclusion, money sucks, you can never have enough to do what you want.

PS3, will atleast be 500. Also, many people are saying 250 for the Rev. Anyways, money does suck. Even if you save up a lot, it always seems like you need more...

i'd buy a 4 wheel drive truck or small suv! i planned on getting a cheap woods beater over the summer but my car crapped out and i had to spend $800 to get it fixed

i'd buy everything in my box at game exchange, some games
a Digital Video Camera
some art supplies
some movies
a genie(heheh joking of course)
Some really expensive things on ebay, that i've always wanted for instance a good Optimus Prime FIgure.

this is my bush beater:

damn! that makes me jealous! i'd love to have something like that to play around with. i was going to try and save up for a nice mid 80s model CJ5 Jeep jacked up with 38s on it, but they go for way out of my price range. now i'm trying to save up a couple hundred to buy an old Ranger or Bronco II or something cheap like that to beat up out in the woods. i wouldn't mind having a 91 Toyota pick up either, those look so sexy with some lift and nice sized tires

44"'s on her, Ford F-150 (Dont start bashing fords...)had the engine rebuilt 3 times, isnt worth getting a paint job, it would get scratched it way too much. We have some army axles we are going to put on her, because when my dads torqueing on the pavement...yeah. doesnt turn out too good. Its damned loud now, and the treads are wre down 1/2 of whats normal! i can hear the truck miles away. i bet Mr. DNA has heard it a few times, also
