If you could only...

If there was a fire in your house, and everyone was out except you, and you could only take 1 system and 10 games (since the fire is getting bigger). What would they be?

I picked the Zelda games because I have yet to play them (been busy).... I wouldn't want them to burn if I didn't even get the enjoyment of playing them!!!

I have my PS2 loaded with a hard drive and backups of my games, so I guess that may be cheating.
That's it, I would sell everything and give up on consoles and start a new hobby of collecting new gadgets.

For the console, it would have to be my SNES. It was the first console I ever owned, hence it has a high sentimential value as for the games-

Why is everyone keeping games for consoles that they aren't keeping?

Because you want to keep the system that costs the most. I picked the NES, because it costs 40-50 dollars in US money. I can get a SNES for 20-30, a N64 for 15-20, and I'm getting the Revolution, so I didn't keep my GCN. PS1, and Gensis are also cheap.

I would take my PS2 and my DW collection.

I'd probably die of asphyxiation trying to decide between the xbox and PS2.

Frankly I wouldn't grasp consoles and games when my house burns down...

There is other stuff that's much more valuable.

But to answer the question:
I'd take my Twin Famicom.
And the 10 games would be:
Dragon Quest 1-6
And all my Zeldas... that's over 10, but what the heck.

What if someone offered you $500k to spend a year on a desert island with only one console and 10 games. No online gaming, no 720 in 1 carts, etc.

Well, I would probably take my NES, and I've only 8 games for it, so I'd would take all of them. :P

I'd grab my emu comp in living room, with the 100,000 NES ROMs on two hard drives. Sad thing would be watching my mame cab burn...cause it aint budging without five people to help.
