What jobs do you guys have?

In Off-topic

I got a random question for everyone. where does everyone work? and how many hours a week do you work? I work as a cook at Hardee's (fast food joint) and in the past 3 days I've worked 22 hours. I normally work about 35 to 40 hours a week too. (Im 17 with a GED. I dont think I get much of a choice in the matter.)

I work in my College's Chemistry lab(20-25hours a week)

Unemployed.

I do the dishes! I get paid nothing but then again, I am 12.

Where does everyone work and how many hours a week do you work?

37.5 hours a week is full time, which means it's time to ask for a raise.

Unless you already have.

I work in the popular D.I.Y chain store "homebase" for on average 40 hours per week. It's a very boring "job" but it frees up the brain to think about other things (i.e monkeys) Thankfully, I start university in september, so not long left.

hmmmm. I'm not sure how long, but I do school, piano and chores.

For the summer I'm working with an Engineering company as a student. I've been working from my bedroom, but it seems they will have an office by July. The company is less than a year old and consists of less than 10 employees.

The job is 40 hours a week. I mostly draft things up in AutoCAD and visit sites to measure areas where things will be built.

It depends on where you live. I think it's 35 or more per week here, in Ontario. Check Google for where you live.

...

in the USA full time is over 30 hours a week. I hit overtime last week where I worked 46 and a half hours so this paycheck will be big. ^_^

I stay home with my son due to my bad health. My wife is a tattoo artist, she works really hard to keep everything going. I have to say though...I used to think people who stayed home with the kids where lazy until I had to do it...jeez...dishes,laundry, constant demands from a six year old...aaarrrggghhh!! It can get just as frustrating and tiring as any outside job. Hat's off to all the single parents, I don't know how they do it.

I'm a student.
Due to the Federal Law on Support in Education I get money from the state.
Unfortunately the support ends next year in March. Then I'll try to work as a translator maybe or look for some other little jobs until I graduate.
After graduation I plan to live and work in Japan for some years.

Being in charge of the household is a thankless job (unfortunatly). People think just because your not bringing in an acual paycheck your not contributing. Running the household is A LOT harder than it sounds! My praises to you to have to care for a child on top of it!

I'm a librarian. Well, technically a library assistant. I don't have the degree yet to get paid as much as a librarian.

legume man
Your a librarian (well, kind of)?!?! I'm soooo jealous! That's what I want to be!!!

I don't work. I'm 15 .

So Am I!!!

It's a great job to have. I kind of fell into it by accident and have been working in libraries for the last 3 years. Seriously, if you want to be a librarian there's nothing stopping you. I say go for it!
