Whats the longest game you have ever played?

In Off-topic

Mine would have to be Baldurs Gate II Shadows of Amn for the PC. Very great game as well. What are the longest games you ever played?

Dragon Warrior VII, 200 hours.

I think I have 200+ hours on my Final Fantasy VII game, I don't know exactly, because the timer stops at 99:59

For me it would probably be Morrowind. I think I put about 60-80 hours into it. Though, there's content for over 200 hours, I just didn't feel like doing that many side quests.

I'm thinking about picking up an Xbox, and that's one of the games on the list.

is it all first person, or can you choose a view?

You choose your view. 1st person is a lot more fun though, since it's all about immersion. The game is so huge and open, you can really get yourself lost in it, hence it being designed for 1st person. Though, I have some friends who preferred the over the shoulder style 3rd person view.

Is Morrowind an open end MMORPG or is it on a script?

It's probably the biggest, most open-ended RPG you will ever find... until Oblivion comes out.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing some non-prerendered shots of Oblivion.

Go to the and download the trailer. That stuff isn't pre-rendered.

if not, I think that'll be the game that sells the 360 for me.

Anyone know of any really long gamecube games to get?

I was 35 hours into Tales of Symphonia and still on the first disc (of two)

my girlfriend recently completed it, I'll find out tomorrow how long it took her.

I did some more looking into Morrowind on the Xbox, and it seems they released a Game Of The Year edition which includes the two expansions. so this could well be the biggest game ever.

Yeah, it's huge, and they sold it for only $20 US. The Tribunal expansion just added one city and maybe 30 hours of gameplay, but the second one, Bloodmoon, added a whole new island and many more hours of content. I never played the expansions though. I lost my character when my old Xbox broke (a friend borrowed it and it stopped working), and I never had the patience to start a new one.

well, it's certainly the first game I need to pick up when I get the cash for an Xbox. Hopefully I can find the GOTY edition.

...

Morrowind sounds facinating. Is it worth a pick up ? And do you guys like long games btw?

I love long games, immersive stories are awesome. it's hard to beat playing into a game, building up a character, developing feelings toward characters in the game.

I know I didn't want to finish Final Fantasy X. I just had so much fun playing it. I was at over 80 hours before I even considered going to fight the last boss.

The game I played the longest time was probably Tetris.

Phantasy Star 1 and Miracle Warriors on the sega master system took me forever to beat. I played Phantasy Star every day for eight months to finally finish the thing. I have all the Phantasy Star games for Genesis but shudder to even think of starting them....

Hey Saito i highly suggest you start Phantasy Star 4. That is the best one in the series i think and alot of people say, Great game and very enjoyable. I guess you could say its the Genisis' Final Fantasy VI.

Mine would be Final Fantasy 1...it was a loooooooonng time ago, and I think I played for somewhere for 80 some hours.

Well...

I'd gladly take them off your hands if you're not going to play them

Yes, I whole heartedly agree. Also, morrow wind is rather exceptional as others have already said so on this forum previously, my friend has spent the best part of a year playing the game of the year edition and surely that must be a sign of a good game.
