Lance Armstrong Foundation

In Off-topic

I'm not usually the type to post about this kind of thing, but in early February I lost my cousin to cancer. and there was a memorial for him today at the school he attended when he wasn't in the hospital. They passed out wristbands from the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and I think the least I can do is pass the word along that it's great organisation, and that we really need to work on the cure for cancer.

now, I ask that anyone that can spare the money at least get a wristband, and if you feel comfortable doing so, pass the word along. the wristbands cost $1 each, so it's not a big request.

Thank you in advance to all who support the cause.

That's a sad story, bro.
You sure have my sympathy.

Of course you have the forums support, dude. Death is a nasty thing, especially within one's family.

I believe my wife has purchased a couple of the bracelets you speak of. Being a nursing student, she always supports stuff like that. I'll have to ask her to know if that's what it's from for sure.

That is very sad. I have a cousin who has cancer, and I have one of those bands. Sorry for your loss .
