Happy Birthday!!!

In N64

The N64 is (in North America) 9 years old today!!! Lets celerbrate the good times we had with the system.

Whoa!

Ah, I remember the day the N64 hit stores. I stood outside K-Mart at 15 'till 6am, waiting for the doors to open. when they did, I ran ahead of my mom and used money that I worked my ass off to get and got a Nintendo 64 and the game Super Mario 64 came with it. The good ol' days.

Yea......my friend was the first to get the N64 (before me I mean). He got it the day Goldeneye came out. Wow....we spent some many sleep overs, and normal days playing that game. Finally I got one (well, my bro bought it). We got Goldeneye right away. Then after a month, we saved up enough to get Mario Kart, and played that to death. O, the good ol' days!

Well, Happy Birthday!

Me and my mom played Yoshi's Story together sometimes. lol To this day, its the only game she can beat me at. Well, PacMan too but she's had more practice with that game. lol (sorry mom)

A very happy birthday indeed! I was so happy when I got one of these, but it broke years later . I then got one for 10 pounds (boxed, complete etc.) 3 years ago. Bargain.

Wow 9 years!! Thats crazy!! That means I have had mine for 8 years and it still works perfectly fine. I still remember that year I got it for my birthday.

The first and only system i got on release date

Yea, same here, but doesn't seem that long since my bro got his NES around 1986-1987, so thats 18 years old, and still works. For its birthday, I really took all 80 of my N64 games, and played all of them for a short time (it was raining out, and I was bored).

Did you play a little longer with goldeneye, SM64, and mario kart?

I'd say Goldeneye because it the first game I got for the N64, and I still play it to this day. But, I mean we loved that game, we'd play 4 player for hours with my 2 bros, and my best friend (he moved, and haven't seen him in 4 years )

Thats the game i have been playing that ALOT lately. Like 2 hours a day. I just to continous runs of the facility, planting mines in various places, without shooting and hiding somewhere and detonating them. Then i abort, and see how many dudes i killed with the mines I can kill like 5 dudes with one near the B keycard door just outside the bathroom. GoldenEye 64 Rules. How is world is not enough?

I liked it, but no where near as good as goldeneye. I think it got over shadowed by it. What about Mario Party? I mean, the first time I played it, I loved it. My friends and me would play all the time. The routeen was playing football/hockey for 2-3 hours, and then play my 64. Man, I miss those days...

I Havent really gotten into the Mario partys for N64. I rented 3 one time, and i was like: "WTF IS THIS, LEIK OMG OMG WTF!" (Okay, i didn't say that. I was 6 Me and my freind played that all night.

I like the first 3 more than the last 3. What about Smash Bros? My friends and me would play that all the time. Once we didn't want to play Multiplayer anymore, we'd tried to beat records on "Break the Targets!!", and "Form the Platformers!!". I hold all of them to this day .

It's probably because ive never played any for any amount of time, and they cost too much for me too get them now

lol. I made my friend buy it off amazon a couple days ago. Now I got 2 people .

its only 8 years old in australia, it came out here on March 10th ( i think it was the 10th)
