Guitar Hero II

In Modern Systems

Ok so I am addicted... so what? You had to know I was gonna start this one.

I got to play it for about and hour or so yesterday, and got to the 5th set of songs on EXPERT (never even played hard or lower

Now, no chance in hell I woulda been able to do that with the first one. Did anyone else notice how much easier they made the game?? I can nail about every solo! with ease I think they altered the timing of hammer-ons/offs so you don't have to be so precise.

Any other thoughts/comments/gripes??? I'm sure I'll think of more when I can play it some more.

Too bad that I do not own a PS2. Oh well. These games do look hella fun. I guess I have to wait until the Wii version comes out. How many tracks are in GHII?

The Wii is getting a verison?

A Wii is getting a verison?

Nope. at this point the PS2 version is out, and an Xbox 360 version is confirmed to be launching in January.

I thought GH III would be on all three Next-Gen Platforms? I posted about it.

Edit:

Here is the Link to the Thread:

Can I use my controller to play it without any adapters?

And before you all jump on me for even using a controller. I hacked up the cheapest one i could find and made my own for two player. It kind of stinks because the controller doesn't have/allow the strum bar so it's a little different. But it's still about 80% as fun.

Ok so I didn't beat it yet, but I'm close. Just got Freebird left on EXPERT, and Jenni... Its not easy .

I WAS beating them first try, till I got to the 6th set. I had to play one song twice, and in the seventh I had to play 3 songs twice, and in the 8th I had to play all of them about 3 times in order to beat it (Ran outta time to play freebird more than once... long song).

I also wanted to show you guys what I have had to deal with to beat this game... Here is a link to a video that shows the lag in the guitar.

Now, something happened with the conversion to YouTube and there is a delay on the audio from the video as well So, to hear the ACTUAL lag that I deal with, just listen to the difference in the drums/bass/vocals vs. guitar.
