Will a twin famicom work on a PAL TV?

In Hardware

It's got an AV out, will that work with an "english" TV?

BTW I'm selling a pink/red twin and another famicom BASIC on ebay. Someone has asked me to add a $200 Buy-it-now price to the twin, does this sound like a good price?

I think the POWer might be the issue there? and as for the famicom, how much did you pay for it?

I probably paid somewhere between $5-$50 for two of them. I pick up stuff in town that's priced reasonable and take it home to figure out what it is. I haven't lost any money on systems yet, but sometimes I just break even, especially on games.

No, the Famicom won't work. There's the POWer issue, as well as the refresh rate issue (60Hz NTSC-J Vs. 50Hz PAL)

and the video format.

POWer is not always an issue, so long as youre using an adaptor designed for your area which has the required output then itll be ok, it doesnt have to be the one which comes with it.

however it probably wont work on a regular pal tv anyway because of the 50/60 difference, and the pal/ntsc difference. having said that, many of the newer pal tv's are multiformat and will support ntsc and 60hz fully.

it all depends on your tv, i live in australia (240v, pal50) and i wouldnt have even the slightest problem playing it due to the tv i have, and my stepdown converter.. both were bought here.
