In Handhelds

I just bought a GBA fairly cheap, mainly just so I could play FF Crystal Chronicals and Zelda Four Swords with friends. Anyhow, I really like the system over the SP and Micro just because it fits my hands better. However, we all know the screen sucks. Does anyone know of a mod for GBA to give it better lighting? I really want just a guide to making/installing lighting because After Burners are still going for $60 for some unknown reason.
