hardest game
This may have been asked, but what does everyone think the hardest game for NES is. Im gonna have to go with
Ghosts 'n Goblins.

Ghosts 'n Goblins is damn hard. Also
Battletoads has caused controllers to thrown against walls the world over.
Hmmm...I would say (for the N64) the hardest would be ocarina of time, IF you don't know where to go. Also, the water temple can confuse a lot of people.
well I'm not sure, and I know the game isn't particullarly hard but Grim Reaper in CV 1 is pretty damn hard. So was Dracula for that matter.
I remember that game, I got to like the 6th level i think
Hmmm...Chrono Trigger wasn't really "hard", but it was really really long, and I guess it kinda felt hard.
I would have to say either
Battletoads or dr jekkyl and mr hyde. And i HATED dr jekkyl and mr hide
Well, single game would be hard to say, but I'd have to say hardest series is the
Adventure Island series. The last levels get sooo hard.
In my opinion (humble though they may be) the hardest series I've ever played is
Contra. Haven't played the second one, but the third one was insane. (Curse that third level!)
The second
Contra is the only one Ive played and it was pretty easy but I cant speak for the others.

I've heard that Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts on the SNES is even harder than Ghosts 'n' Goblins. Haven't played Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts so couldn't say myself.

NES ROM today, only to find that I, too, could not beat the first level. Oh, how tempting it is to save the game state...
I beat the genesis one, I have super , and regular and I would have tosay the first was theor is the hardest.

Rygar, i beat it finally but damn the last level is mega nasty, it took me 10 years till i finally beat it last week.
getting to the end is not mega hard but the last boss is mega hardcore.

Rygar. Thats a good game, it was tricky for me though i remember having to go to that old man alot and i had to look up how to get the grapple
Hook or whatever its called. Ive also heard there was a modern
Rygar out but i never tried it out. My friend said it started out good but got boring later on. How is it?
I'm almost done, and I think it's great, but I keep being stuck in places with nowhere to go.
The combat system is awesome, though.
I would have to say for the nes it was dragonwarrior2 the only one in the seris that I could not beat, and I consider myself an hardcore rpg'r another was morrowind for the xbox and pc I have it for both I spent over 300hrs on morrowind to never reach the end another was ff8 have not played any ff after no #8 don't own any of them. That's why I posted Worst RPGS so as to stay away from some lamers. but you never know til you try...
