Perfect Dark is a game for Nintendo 64. On the package it says that you've got to have a certain expansion pak, I've only got a N64 controller pak, does anyone know if it really matters?

Yes, it does matter, actually. You won't be able to play many of the game modes without one, so I suggest you purchase one, immediately.

Yes, get one because it will open up your gaming options with a couple more games. You need an expansion pack for Majora's mask, and Dk64 to name a few.

in theory it would help to eliminate slowdown in all other games as well. it's a very worth while investment.

Right. In theory. Besides filling the requirement to play the games that need it, you can't really notice a difference on other games that dont require it. But it's probably only like 5 bucks now anyway.
