Question on using controllers

In Emulators / NES ROMs

I bought a USB adaptor that can run 2 Play station controllers. I can't get it to work with my NES emulator. Or at all for that matter... Does anyone have experience with setting these up?

sounds like you need to install drivers and set up the joysticks within the windows control panel.

The driver's are installed and everything is Hooked up properly. Controller has POWer going to it. I have no clue as to how to configure it. Does anyone have experience with this or know where a guide for this is?

It appears as though the problem is with the emulator. Do you know if you have to set the controls into emulators? If so, does anyone have experience doing this? I haven't been able to play any Megaman games for over 8 years now. I'm dying to play

somewhere in the options menu of the emulator you're using should be something about "input" just go there and configure the controller, it should work.

If you're using FCE Ultra (or if you're not you might want to try this one) it's quite straightforward. Select the config menu, then joysticks. You then have to assign each button individually and hey presto; hours of Megaman bliss!

Does your controller work in any other windows applications?

If it doesn't work in any other games, then you can rule out the emulator as the problem.
