ROM search

In Emulators / NES ROMs

I read in an old game book about a NES game called triumph. It's a stratagey game where the battles are fought like i declare war. there were big armies & everything. I'm not able to find it as a NES ROM. Can anyone help me find it, or does it even exist?

Well, I was browsing a thread on NES World (here's the link):

Anyway, the way the game is described isn't anything like the one you describe. I haven't done any official searches, but this just came up under my nose... it might help, don't know though.

Well, in this old game book, was it talking about the game in future tense?
Maybe it was talking about a game in production, but never ended up being released...

While you're looking for it, I'd suggest picking up the NES ROMs for Shingen the Ruler, ROTK, and Nobunaga's Ambition, if you're a strategy buff. You can get those NES ROMs here, as a matter of fact.

I've always been a fan of the Romance franchise.

Well, I went ahead and did some digging. I looked at this first, which at the bottom states that it's a game that was never released:

So then I went here, and it says there's no documentation for the game:

I decided not to search further. Anyone else come up with something better than this?

I went to the second site(), & looked at the documentation of unreleased games, & triumph was there. Hudson never released it. I saw pictures of it before, & it looked intresting. Thanks for all your help, everyone. I wish it did exist.

Is there any place where I can see screenshots for it? I can't read NES World's description unless I'm a member.

Did you check to see if maybe it was a famicom game that never made it to U.S. production? I'll check out a famicom NES ROM list and see for you....

Nope...thought Hudson might have put out a Jap version, or took someones game and reworked it into something for a U.S. release and never finished it up ect...but no dice. Unless it's under a Japanese name I don't know how to read..it wasn't on the famicom list either.

OK then; Thanks Saito, & thanks again everyone.
