Grandma found these and said I either get rid of them or toss them out so I figure if anyone wants to make me an offer on the whole lot be my guest!

Well I might as well throw this up here as well. If anyone is interested then let me know and I'll answer all questions!

I'll trade this once again for NES items and/or cash. The Lord of The Rings book was valued at $400 U.S. and $200 for The Hobbit. I'll sell both for $400 or trade. I'll also throw in a handfull of paperback Tolkien books I've collected as well for free.

damn! I need a job. those comics look fun.

Lol they are! While I'm on the computer chatting friends I'm rereading them all! I figure if I could at least trade them for NES Games then I won't feel as bad getting rid of them.

Not many people remember these books from the mid to late 80's. You'd read a paragraph in the book and depending on what you'd want to do you would go to a different page of the book while traveling through a fantasy world solving puzzles. Written by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingston these books are long out of print and getting harder to find. The average condition of these books are in fair shape because of thier age and lots of use.

You know about these books! Omigod omigod omigod lol!

I have two, they're . I'm a sucker for quirky ideas. Besides, the battle function made the lame "adventure" idea infinitely more replayable and cooler.

Let's see, I've got the Talisman one, and I'm pretty sure I have Temple of Doom. That's the one with the axe-wielding snake dude on it, right?

Not aure about the Temple of doom. I sold the an entire set many years ago for $100, that was back when these were fairly new. It's been a long time though.
