NES and Sega Review Website

In Advertise Your Site

Aaron and I have decided to make our own NES and Sega review website.
The page is under construction, but here's the link:

Aaron will take care of the Sega section, while I'll take care of the NES section.

Hope you'll enjoy the site, when it's up and coming.

Good idea, guys. I've noticed all these free web page hosting sites and a buddy and I are trying to agree upon an idea to start one of our own. He wants to start a forum about Amiga computers, I want to start one about gaming in general, I don't think the two mix well.

Todd if you decide to use a free host, i suggest Geocities (commonly known as Geoshitties). when i tried Freewebs, 90% of the time, i'd have to log out and back in everytime i uploaded 1 file, and it wouldn't let me upload more than 1 file at a time. it was way too much of a hassle. the other guy that worked on the site with me said the samething happened with his computer.

I shall make a note of that, I don't expect it to happen anytime soon anyway, we're still trying to come up with a subject for a board.
"Geoshitties."

The BEST free web hoster is definitely
They have only one flaw: They're completely in Japanese. But you get ninja-style counters and stuff. Web space is UNLIMITED.

Hmm. The Japanese barrier might not be a problem, because the friend I'm cooking up ideas with is the one that knows a little Japanese, and for quite awhile now, I've been wanting to get a translation dictionary or something, especially with these games I've been downloading lately where I can't understand what they're saying (Puyo Puyo is the latest one).
Just the name "Shinobi" sounds cool...one of my favorite arcade games.
...I looked at the site, and saw the title, but the rest was nothing but a bunch of blocks. I guess, according to The Muffinman, I should contact my local LSD salesman immediately.

Just to let you guys know, if you have a website gave us the link and it will go up on our link page!

I see that you chose A Boy and His Blob for the first NES review. Good choice.

Thanks, yeah, I've always liked it. I hope you thought the rating was fair. I played it and analysed very carefully before I gave out the review.

Yeah I think 8/10 is a fair rating. It's a unique game with a whole load of cool features, but it can also be frustrating in places and doesn't have much replay value once you've finished it. So yeah I think it's a good review.

Yeah freewebs does indeed suck dong with a straw, but since their last updates and bug fixes its alot easier to use. If you manipulate the layout with some home made backround images, you can make it look almost professional. My boot trading site I'm in the process or re-doing, but the Yes page is finished :

I thought it was a good & fair review; I know I gave a rather negative one on this site, but I've come to appreciate that game a little more over time.
Nice page, OGTL, and very thorough; and you may have given me an idea for one of my own, music is one thing this buddy of mine and I can agree on (although he has a peculiar obsession with Devo).

The forum has been added view it here:

Nes-Chris has left the team because he is very busy and I understand family and school-work and work come first. My Cousin is feeling in for him his username on there is 16-bit wizard. I updated it somewhat. Hopefully by summer I will switch from Freewebs.com
I will be Hosting some Art me and this Girl in my Art class our working on together.

Another little update, I am using Google Adsense now. So once the cash flow starts coming in I will switch from freewebs.

I don't see any adsense ads on the page.

I don't see any adsense ads on the page.

I have Ads blocked on FireFox at home. So I checked at School and I see the ads:

New Address

Update your bookmarks.

Now everybody has to go through a page of ads before continuing to the actual site.. what is the point?

I will be upgrading my .TK account so there will be no more going to that page of ads, but for now I guess it has to due.

You know you can buy a .com domain for like, $10, right?

8.95 is godaddy's price for 1 year. it discounts with additional years I think.
That's just for the domain. It doesn't include any sort of hosting (unless you buy it for like 45 dollars yearly? it's been a while).
